Zambian Chief writes on need for ICT in rural areas
Chief Chikanta is a regular visitor to Macha while traveling to his chiefdom 40 kilometers further afield. He has taken keen interest in the LinkNet developments. Recently he took the initiative to write a paper with Fred Mweetwa on the need of ICT development in rural areas. The Chief concludes: " the results have been encouraging and further developments are highly needed. There is a good rational for these developments. Support is solicited for further research and development of ICT in rural areas, also with an angle towards supporting the preservation of African culture ".
